Barry Andrews TD, Minister for Children and Youth Affairs, said today that he will recommend to Government at its next meeting of 7th January 2009, that the HSE's report into the management of allegations of clerical sexual abuse in the Diocese of Cloyne be immediately published.

Minister for Children confirms payment of increased Early Child Supplement

10% increase comes into effect today14 April, 2008. Mr Brendan Smith, TD, Minister for Children has today confirmed payment of the first quarterly instalment of the Early Child Supplement (ECS), which was increased to €1,100 in Budget 2008.
