Access and Inclusion Model (AIM)

The Access and Inclusion Model (AIM) is designed to ensure that children with disabilities registered on the ECCE Programme can meaningfully participate in the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Programme in a mainstream pre-school.  For more information about the different types of support see

For Providers

Are you a pre-school provider in contract with the Department of Children and Youth Affairs to run the ECCE Programme?  Do you have a child in your ECCE pre-school room registered on the ECCE Programme for whom additional support is required in order that they can meaningfully participate in the pre-school room?  You, in partnership with the parent, guardian or carer, can apply for supports under the Access and Inclusion model.  See for more information.

The AIM Rules for the 2019/2020 programme year can be viewed here.
