The Youth Participation Project:A Catalyst for Change

Abstract	This report records the work and achievements of the Youth Particiapation Project-a cross border initiative that facilitates youth participation and change in teh planning and design of health and social care services. Established in 2004, the role of the Project evolved from regional engagement in participation activities to supporting, facilitating and promoting youth participation throughtout Ireland. This report seeks to capture the journey of the project from regional to national import, and the learning of the Project to date. The project is offered as a model for youth participation in health and social care planning throughout the country.
