Working for children and families:exploring good practice

PDF
AuthorBernadine Brady;Pat Dolan;John Canavan
AbstractThis report, undertaken on behalf of the Department of Health and Children, provides a snapshot of some of the models and approaches currently being implemented in child and family services throughout Ireland. Each Health Board was asked to nominate up to three examples of service provision that they feel represents good practice in their area. The 26 models nominated are profiled in this document in order to enable policy makers and practitioners to see good work happening throughout the country and learn from the experiences of others. A set of good practice principles, as identified through empirical research and literature, are identified at the outset. Full-text online
