Description The National Drug Treatment Reporting System (NDTRS) is an epidemiological database on treated problem drug and alcohol use in Ireland. Data are collected on service provision, main and additional problem substances, initial treatment provision, risk behaviours and main socio-demographic characteristics of treated cases.
Primary Function The Health Research Board supplies service providers and policy-makers with relevant data from the NDTRS to inform local and national substance misuse policy and planning.
